The Innovation Team for Digital Twin of Complex Energy System

Team introduction

The digital twin innovation team of complex energy system led by Professor Zhang Bo of Dalian University of Technology, based on the "Key Laboratory of Liaoning Province for Complex Energy Conversion and Efficient Utilization", plans to engage in the research and development and industrialization of efficient customized/general-purpose wire tube heat exchanger for both military and civil purposes by introducing the research results of efficient lightweight compact heat exchanger in the advanced thermal management system of aerospace. The reunion has a strong scientific research foundation. In recent years, it has undertaken a number of national level major scientific research tasks, including the "two machine special project", the JW major foundation strengthening project, the joint fund of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Decoration and Development, the major projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, and general projects. At the same time, some scientific research achievements have successfully achieved industrialization demonstration, and it has sufficient experience in the transformation of scientific research to practical use. The team has won many national, provincial and ministerial science and technology awards, including the National Science and Technology Progress Award and the first prize of Dalian Scientific and Technological Invention Award, published more than 250 papers (including more than 52 SCI searches), and held 8 invention patents (including 1 conversion). The team consists of three professors and four associate professors, including one excellent talent from the Ministry of Education in the new century. The age structure of the team is reasonable and it has good prospects for development.

Professor Zhang Bo: Vice President of Ningbo Research Institute of Dalian University of Technology, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, New Century Excellent Talents of the Ministry of Education, Innovative Talents of Colleges and Universities in Liaoning Province, Director and Deputy Secretary General of Engineering Thermophysics Professional Committee of China Higher Education Society, Member of Academic Working Committee of China Refrigeration Society, and Director of Fluid Branch of China Mechanical Engineering Society. Focusing on the mechanism of fluid flow and enhanced heat transfer, research and technical innovation were carried out, and the fluid solid heat coupling design was proposed to solve the lightweight and efficient heat transfer design idea, and a fruitful attempt was made in the aerospace field. Academic opinions and results have published more than 30 SCI retrieval papers in TOP journals in this field. 9 invention patents and several utility model patents were authorized. Facing the major national needs and focusing on the transformation of scientific and technological achievements into productivity, in the direction of waste heat refrigeration/heat pump, the company has completed the whole process from basic research to application, demonstration and industrialization, jointly formulated the first domestic enterprise standard on jet refrigeration, and led the completion of the first domestic demonstration project of low temperature waste heat Freon jet refrigeration system with large refrigeration capacity (≥ 1744KW) and jet heat pressurization system of secondary heat exchange station for central heating; It has effectively formed new products, achieved more than 20 million yuan of enterprise benefits, and won 4 scientific and technological awards from Dalian and Liaoning.

Team R&D direction

1. Solve the difficult problems of digital twin modeling, rapid simulation, reconstruction and physical digital two-way coupling in the complex energy process, and lay a foundation for the research and development of key equipment of digital twin technology in the field of energy and power;


2. With digital twin technology as an important technical means, combined with advanced flow and heat transfer technologies, and facing the needs of enterprise applications, research and develop key equipment and devices urgently needed by enterprises;


3. In terms of digital twin technology and new energy power plant research and development, we will form and implement the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and ensure the implementation of product level research and development achievements and the formation of productivity.
