Research direction: innovation and application of new technologies in fine chemicals and biomedicine.

Team foundation: won one second prize of National Natural Science Award, four second prizes of Scientific and Technological Progress Award, two second prizes of Technological Invention Award, one international scientific and technological cooperation award, and one special gold award of Geneva International Invention Exhibition in research fields such as biological dye, fluorescent recognition dye, and large-scale application of clean processes and key technologies.

Center positioning: relying on the advantageous disciplines of chemical, environmental, biological, etc. of Dalian University of Technology, and with the strong support of the State Key Laboratory of Fine Chemical Industry, carry out research and development of key generic technologies such as new dyes, new materials for fine chemical industry, clean preparation of fine chemical industry, biopharmaceuticals, and special equipment for energy conservation and environmental protection, and transform their achievements

Center objective: to build a high-end green fine chemical products and bio pharmaceutical innovation platform with international influence, and a high-end professional training and gathering center.
