Research direction: Manufacturing technology innovation and application of new materials for high-end industries.
Team foundation: In the research fields of developing a series of new high temperature resistant soluble high-performance engineering plastics with new structures, electromagnetic control technology and application in the continuous casting and solidification process of high-performance copper alloys, we have won three second prizes of national technological invention and two gold prizes of the Geneva International Invention Expo.
Center positioning: Relying on the superior disciplines such as chemical engineering and materials of Dalian University of Technology, supported by innovation platforms such as the Engineering Center of the Ministry of Education for Moulding Products, the Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education for Three Bundle Materials Modification, and the Provincial Engineering Center for High Performance Resins, the Center carries out research and development and achievement transformation of cutting-edge and key technologies such as material molding and control projects, metal materials, new high-temperature resistant and soluble high-performance resins, new functional membrane materials, and biomedical materials.
Central objective: to build a high-end new material innovation platform with international influence, and a high-end professional training and gathering center.
